I am beginning to mod my 97 GTP. I have a CAI, replaced the snout bushing, autolite 103s, and new ac delco plug wires(my old ones needed to be replaced). I am torn between a PCM or smaller pulley. Which should I do first? Also which PCM should I go with. Is it better to by a smaller pulley or buy the Manguson nose drive with the 3.4 allready on there. Thanks!

I would go with the pulley before the pcm the pcm is said to require at least minimum modifications before installation about the new snout i heard it does improve something im not sure how? mabey someone could elaborate? some exhaust modifications should help also check out this link http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/info/how_to_begin_mods_gtp.htm

Well the order I did it was;
3.4" pulley
Cold air box
PCM
And all the other mods stay unlisted.

Agree. Do the pulley first and then the PCM. I did u-bend delete, CAI, pulley, and PCM in that order.

The reason I picked the order that I did, was because when you put the PCM in you have to do a CKP Variation Learn/case learn. I wanted everything in place before I had to do that. Did cold air and pulley at sametime. Never had any troubles doing it that way.
But everyone has they way.

But you don't have to do a case learn on a 97 right?
What is the best pulley to buy? Pulley boys zzp others?

No case learn required as long as you swap the knock sensor from your stock PCM to the new one. I'm running a Pulley Boys 3.4 press-on. It's worked great so far.
