wow, my computer is seriously screwed.
it says you ran a 13.1 and you had a previous time of 12.9
maybe spell it out cause my computer reads alphabetical digits just fine

your monitor displays numbers just fine... u just dont realize that centerville is a 1000ft track and not a full 1/4 mile. with my current setup i would be lucky to hit a 13.9 in the full 1/4, im hoping to hit 11's here. whats with the sudden me-bashing?

well, that's kinda hard to believe.
do you know what kinda speed your dealing with when you get into the 13's?
like, i seriously have spanked so many cars in my dart with the old engine, and these guys would tell me they were 14 second cars.
like civics with nitrous, celicas with nitrous and turbos, turbo jettas, any 5.0 mustang i could find.
i would absolutely eat them on the street, by lengths and lengths and lengths, and i only ran a 15.86 at the track with that car.
and i am completely serious, that wrx ran a 15.45 and that was like, powershifting the hell out of it. not even taking his foot off the gas when he shifted.
if you run a 13.9 in a n/a subaru wagon, your a god, man.
like, if i seen a wrx run a 13.9 i would pray to the guy, cause i certainly couldn't do it in a car that feels that....not fast.
to give you a good indication, my talon had to bust the 300 hp mark before it ran a 13. 300 at the flywheel with awd netted me a 13.8 in that car.
the wrx has 227 at the flywheel, so how it can run that fast stock is unbeknownst to me
note: i raced a wrx on the way back from the exhaust shop after putting my 3.5" full exhaust without a cat in the talon. the car is a 92 talon tsi awd. i took the subaru until about 70 mph where he let off, and i had a car length on him. when he tried to fly by me, i was too quick, and i was already accelerating away from him by the time he was at my rear bumper. i held it to the floor until i couldn't see him anymore.

now, the talon has run a best time of 12.2 @ 115 mph. i like the awd but my clutch is only a few months old and it's already showing signs of slippage up around 140 mph

well the subarus have really close gearing for acceleration, for rally, its helps acceleration a lot. like i said i would be LUCKY to get 13.9, and thats not n/a, thats putting in the 75 shot jets so estimating about 250hp. n/a i would be lucky to hit a 14.9.

and yes people on i-club run 14.2 consistently in stock wrx's. a $10 home built boost controller will put u in the 13's. but it all has to do with the driver. was he just revving it and dropping the clutch? bad idea, the car bogs down really quickly when u do that. gets u off the line quick but u dont keep going, u lose all your momentum right away.

and the "not taking your foot off the gas while shifting" thats what i do unless im spraying. BAD idea to hit the fuel cutoff while spraying. but since i havent been to the track since i got my nitrous, all my runs were while "powershifting"

i was looking for some of those stock 14.2's but all im finding right now is modded ones, but if u look enough they are on there. i guess ill post some times of MILDLY modified wrxs instead.

I had a 13.6 at e-town. 1.801 60' I think it was around 98.xx mph

-godspeed uppipe and downpipe with kakimoto exhaust (Full catless tb exhaust)
-aem intake
-greddy type-s bov
-kartboy SS w/ bushing

ALL THIS WITH STOCK TURBO AND STOCK BOOST
It was ~50 degree's out.

now a BOV and short shifter dont do anything for him, so its really only intake/exhaust/ud and downpipe.

Guys, thanks for all the inputs! I went again and run 13.735 @ 97.43mph. Same mods my boost is set to 16.5 @ 3rd gear. I think I just need to improve my R/T and 60'.

Temp = 57F
Relative Humidity = 73
Absolute Barometer = 29.79

R/T = 1.067
60' = 1.906
330 = 5.652
1/8 = [email protected]
1000 = 11.448

Mods:
Blitz BOV
Blitz SUS Intake
GodSpeed Uppipe
TXS HPMBC (1st set to 1.05 bar & 2nd set to 1.12 bar as per my Blitz DTT)

once again BOV doesnt help, so intake, uppipe, and MBC set at 16.5psi (stock is 14.7 so thats only a 1.8 psi increase)

Posted my personal best times tonight

60' 1.93
1/4 13.8 @ 98.30

I gotta shave more off that 60' time tho

Mods = TXS - 4 (with stock rear muffler) pretty much

this guys closest to stock as any i found

1.899 60'
[email protected] MPH

My car was pulling mad timing between 5K-6K ... New SBC-iD has seemed to smooth things out. I will 0wNz0r 13.5 next week

Mods:
- Vishnu Stage 0 (minus plugs)
- SBC-iD/Powermeter-iD (thanks german-autowerks!)
- Kartboy SS w/ Bushing

and these are a couple of the n/a 2.5 liter imprezas like mine running zex nitrous like mine.

But until then, given I 've already ran a 15.00 at 90 with only an intake, do you think mid 13's would be attainable with an 80 shot?

I think they are. I was running 15.1's normally aspirated with only intake and exhaust. 14.089 with only a 55 shot and bottle warmer.

With an 80 shot, I'll guesstimate you'd hit a 13.4@101-102mph (with a 1.8 60ft time).

EJK - you aren't related to Spunky are you? He ran 15.08 with only intake and stripped car too.

QKsilverRS ran a 75 shot at Pueblo's PMI raceway with a 14.095@94 and running low on nitrous towards the end. Mods were AEM intake, APEXi N1 catback, N1 pullies, and Walbro high pressure hi flow fuel pump.
