I agree with the Gunmetal and black. But, I also like the yellow/bronze, like the subaru rally cars. IMO that looks real nice. all personal preference.

The default on the blue seems to be the white - it is a VERY hard color to play off of. However Purple, Green, and Orange will technically go with the blue.
There is the puke green or lavender look, but that's not my style. I would love to see what happened when someone put a nice, deep orange aganst that blue. The bronze is close, but IMO, the wheels on the Subraru Impreza WRC (the rally car) are pretty boring. I don't think they're orange enough, espically with the bright yellow lettering.
Something close to what the Mitsubishi Eclipse paint for a while there might work as an orange compliment. Stand out, but tastefully.
If you go bronze wheels, you might want to consider ambering the headlights also. The amber headlights are completely legal too.
It would be a very catlike look. To retain catlikeness, you need to have only two eyes - no foglights. My first impression is that it would suck, but I wonder what a cat's eye motif over the headlights would do. (i.e. with yellow tint in a circle, grey around that and for the slit.
