5. Vandalising, Stealing, ETC.

I have no information on this except from what I read on the forums, people say it takes about 200 planning and 200 execution to get a car w/o being caught.

----Leave your car status as "TUNING, RACING, or DYNO" when you logout. how? simple. Make your last action either a race, a TnT session, or a dyno session. Don't use the logout button- To exit, simply close the internet explorer window.

Yeah man, theres like an infinite amount of things you can do in this game. You can go through people's garages and steal their spare parts, then sell them on the market for quick cash. :evillol:

You know, that site pisses me off. I have had 3 cars stolen from me. That would be no big deal except for the fact that I had purchased level 10 anti-theft. Some asshole was still able to steal my cars with ease. Pisses me off!

To tell you the truth, antitheft systems are useless. Just make sure the last thing you do is Test and Tune/Dyno. You car can't get stolen in those modes. and make sure you NEVER LOG OUT. Simply perform your last action then close the browser window.

damn right they're usless! either way it helps to deter them. Everytime I got my car stolen was when I was promoting myself. So I can't see how I can stay in Test and Tune/Dyno mode and promote myself at the same time. While stealing someones car is fun I think they should either do away with it all together or make so that anti-theft levels actually mean something.

Exactly. There are people who don't even own cars and all they do is go around stealing other people's cars. Anyways, I'm down for the AF team, whtteg.

I've owned a 3 cars so far, and have not gotten a single stolen as of yet. None of them had alarm systems.

What you want to do, is be quick about promoting, once you're done, go straight to the dyno or something.

Sponsors DO help a lot. I NEVER work anymore. 100 Credit request from the sponsors can get me upwards of 2 grand. So make sure you get that RnR up.

I sold my 11 sec 14k crx and went to mod a turbo tureno(sp?) and as I was working since I have very few sponsors it got stolen with erm turbo, exhaust, ecm, and a few other things but I forgot and gave up untill the next round. my name's "dori_dori" on there. nobody has stolen my car yet (people have tried) but they did steal parts from me. I bought a ecu and an intake for my rx7 and i was gonna install it with the credits the next day but they werent there.

Ok so here are the rules for the AF team on topshift:
#1: Join the Forums on topshift.
#2: Read this first and do nothing until you read both links.

#3: Follow the advice in the above links. If I ever see your status as “HOME” I will kick you from the team right then. There should be no problems with this because if you read the links it will tell you how to avoid “home” status.

#4: Don’t decline races, if you are challenged by someone that you don’t want to race then just ignore it and it will go away in 60 seconds.

#5: Keep your RNR up, to do this race, race, race and race. But make sure that you win most of those races. As you go along try to get as many races under your belt as possible. Then when you get close to the +3-5% range get sponsors (remember to read the links they will tell you how to get them). After you have at least 100 races under your belt start promoting your sponsors, then request money form them. I have found that if you request around 50-80 credits at a time you get more in the long run than if you request hundreds at a time. This is very important guys. Then once the money starts rolling in get all the parts that are available for your car, including spoilers, headlights, gauges etc. Then win some races and your RNR will go way up. After you get a +40% or more start going for the harder to get sponsors. Then race, race, race, race!

#6: Promoting, this should only, I repeat ONLY be done when you have a race pending. You need to always look at the drag strip and see what time the next race is at, then make sure you are looking at the clock in the upper left corner of the screen so that you are completely done with any and all promoting when the race is over. If you wanted to do more promoting then get another race started, remember that you don’t have a race pending until you get a message back from the person you challenged stating that they accept your challenge.

#7: Thefts are allowed as long as you can be successful at it. Don’t ever use any combo numbers that are given to you on the topshift forums, they are almost always combos that won’t work and will get you in trouble or waste a lot of your credits. If you are unsure about stealing things, than don’t do it.

#8: There are no rules as to what car you have to have to join the team, you can have any car you want
