Face it guys and gals, every car company is going to be "hybridizing" all of their models sooner or later, just look at the eclipse on the cover of the mag I scanned this from, which more than likely is going to be made, and on this same page of the MKV, Mazda is testing out their RX-8 hybrid, it seems the Supra will probably evolve into one to these things as well.

Does anyone one agree that the one in my signature should be the next Supra? because that one looks kick ass.

Yeah that things ugly, I'd much rather have the rumored Supra from the newest "Car and Driver" to be the next supra.

yea that car blows. id rather keep wishing for an m4, even if gas prices end up being through the roof. i figure with the 200 million gas powered cars out there, its going to be a LONG time before we go full hybrid.

I dont think that is going to be Toyota's next "Supra". The Lexus LF-A will probaly be the next "Supra".

ok listen up boys and girls. i spoke to a couple of ppl from japan HQ. new supra is being planned to come out late 05 to late 06. around there. between 30K to 45K ish. either V8. that puts out about 320hp or V8 turbo that puts out about 420hp. 6speed manual or 5 speed auto.

oh by the way its gonna be on a IS frame.

come on Toyota, more platform sharing? Dont you love us, your loyal customers, enough to build us a light weight, rwd platform just for us? Please?

Toyota is going to build a performance hybrid, but it will not wear the Supra name, nor will the Lexus badged new mid-engine super car, which is over 100k, and is meant as a competitor to the upcoming NSX replacement. (in other words 911TT, Ferrari 360 market)

i cant really see it that good, but if its convertible then its sexy

anyhow, there have been a loooong number of rumors bout the MKV.

one that is called the Volta (the hybrid sports car), another which is the LF-A (which i bet is going to be apart from the Supra itself), and im sure that toyota will make a new Supra but make it "different"".
