camaro guy with a question

yeaaaahhh ....first time in this forum but i have a quick question... my dad has a 1969 mustang GT fast back 351w is that rare?? ive heard some things about it but idk..noones got one so im assuming there not run of the mill anyone ever heard of these.?

actually that's kind of a gem... i'd buy it in a heartbeat. fastbacks are getting hard to find and the 351W wasn't an option in too many stangs, even though it's a hell of a motor. is that an auto or stick? how many speeds?

It's not really rare. The base line GT came standard with a 351W in 69.

haha i dont really remember much about the car we put it in for a full frame off resto last spring, its a 3 speed auto, dart race heads, wicked cam, roller rockers, keith black pistons, bored .30 over, balanced crank, full mallory ignition, race carb i forget what brand, race manifold. the car ran low 12's with 10" wide street tires on it, he took seats out but couldnt keep it from spinning. going down to the resto shop with no interior following my dad he got it doin posi burnouts at 65 on I-395. he has beaten a street bike with me in it which is cool.. i have to admit if i were to buy one mustang, that would be it....soon to be silver with black stripes, torque thrusts on bf-goodrich drag radials, its been lowered 2" full suspension uprgrades, willwood brakes.

I'm kidding, but make sure you install an alarm and hood pins.
And buy a German Shepard and put the dog house in the garage.

i am from connecticut. haha german shepards not for our cars our 2 pitbulls do the trick nicely :evillol: but its not even at my house yet its only in primer now i suppose i havnt seen it for 6 months now itll compliment the hemi orange 72 cuda and 74 450 sl mercedes hopfully to be replaced by a camaro hah but haha that car shuts alot of mouths. especially with the shaker hood and yes hood pins are a must at 130 but i dont get do drive these daddy wont let me :nono:

I figured it was somewhere close to me since you mentioned 395. Where in Ct you from, I live jus over the boarder in West Springfield, Ma.
