Help guys!

My friend has a problem with his paseo. You know, when you're in second and you remove your feet from the gas pedal without touching the clutch and press the gas pedal once again it gives some kind of shock (don't know how to explain it), his problem is that it does it when he press the gas pedal to the max while in second, third and sometime in fourth. Do you know what that might be?
