taurus p1309 trouble code

have a question, I recently bought a 99 Taurus and the Trouble code P1309 was read where The "misfire detection monitor is noe enabled" is the information given. ive looked everywhere online and have not found info about how to replace or where it is located. I was wondering if you could help me. Thank you
