New Targa Top

Ok, I bought a new (new to me) Targa top. It appears to be straight and in good condition. There's a problem though. It doesn't line up correctly. When it's on the car and tightened down (correctly according to the diagram) there's a gap in the rear on the drivers side of approx. 1/16". More than enough for water to come pouring in when it rains. The old top fit perfectly. Do you think my car was in an accident and got tweaked? Is there some adjustment that I missed? I managed to remove my old headliner and install it just fine. I didn't see any adjustment when I had it apart.

Any help would be appreciated.
