93 k1500 Ball Joint Assembly

So, I'm putting a lift on my 1993 k1500 and I'm replacing the ball joints while I'm down there. I ran to AutoZone and bought a set of upper ball joints, and I was a little bit surprised to see that they came without the rubber boots on the ball joints. Is there a trick to getting the boots on there? I greased them up but they still wont slide on there. All I can come up with is using the control arm as a pressing plate and pressing the rubber onto the ball joint with some longer bolts or somthing. Any ideas? Thanks-

What brand did you buy? I use Moog most of the time and they always come with new boots.

No they're not Moog. They're just the autozone premium one's which I guess are Duralast. Where can I get Moog ones? Do they have a lifetime warranty? The lift I'm putting on lowers the control arms which i hear can be kind of tough on some front end components so I'm trying to get some stuff up there with life time warranties. Thanks-
