Right so I was at Great Western Lanes on the Westside of Columbus. Only been inside for about 15 minutes. My buddy who I hadn't seen in a while wanted to go out and check out my latest setup. Walk out there and there's a bunch of little white trash punks sitting in a ole what looked to be a mid 80's SUV maybe a bronco or burban I don't know it was late. It was baby blue on top and black on the bottom. had 22 or 24 inch chrome rims that had a hole in the middle where spinners should attatch but there were none. So if you see this vehicle or know where they live columbus posters LET ME KNOW. Anyways so as I come out I was walking over towards my car and one is like you gotta problem i looked over and said WHAT he repeated himself and i was like not till now....of course little punks were scarred *****es. So im like somethin isn't right and told my friend t go get everyone inside and i walk over to my car. Look in the dash and the HU is gone......theyre backing out and leaving at the time.....so i go and start chasing them lookin for a liscense plate number but i couldn't see it....threw a rock and tried yelling and screamin to get them to stop....but of course they didn't....I was on the ohone with 911 telling her right where they were and the DUMBASS dispatcher was like okay we'll get someone over there to take a report....i was like NO THEYRE RIGHT HERE she was a dumb *****. N E ways so the cop gets there and takes the report....they got my HU and ripped my tsunami off the box....the mounting feet were still there where they rippied it.....****ed up one of my sexxx's. Busted my lock and tore the hell outa my back bumper. Luckily I added theft on my insurace about 3 months ago. At least I'll get a check for it. But yea anyone on here who lives in columbus keep an eye out for his vehicle and get a liscense plate number for me if you can.....I'm gunna find the mother****ers and show them how it feels to get your shit stolen....and if they have a problem with me doing it then theyll get the shit beat out of them......moral of the story thieves suck. Yea so any columbus posters hit me up on aim rydemenmystang

i dunno about that re comp set, i've heard some bad things about it, the tweeters aren't up to par, and the mids are only alright for midbass and midrange. i'd say step it up and go with the adire comp set........

true, but the RE set is only $150, the kodas are over twice as much

for 150 i'd go with that cdt deal over at thezeb.com, and the amount of money he's willing to spend on his sub stage, i'd think he'd be willing to shell it out..........

nope I'm a basshead and the re comp set will be fine.... I'm not puttin out 350 for a comp set and i'm not a big cdt fan.

every one of htem would have been knifed and face flattened before they even knew what hit them and even had a chance to get back in their vehicle....
some of the best security stuff is sold in the UK where anything is legal...ever heard of a flame thrower security system? well if i can find the vid agian...
if the system is armed and a window is broken, dorr is opened through tamering with the lock there is a butane flame thrower by all the doors...just hope it doesnt malfunction... there are also security systems that put 2 little plates under the door handle and a transformer that steps 12v up to 1200v and runs it into a capasitor per door handle...if the system is armed the caps charge up and if you grap the door handle you get the shock of your life...there was a whole video of stuff like that on some web site...ill see if i can find it... thouhg most of it has beig warning that say illegal in most countries....lol...

i have no idea. all i know is that he has one and wants to start saving up for a new car...so he is selling it. he says that if he doesnt get it sold soon he is pawning it...where he will get like half of what its worth. he went deer hunting one time with it... the one shot was in the neck (very powerful weppon, he ammed for the chest, it blew him back just enough to hit the neck...where the best meat IMO is) and literally decapitated the deer... since then it has just sat in the gun locker with 500 rounds... doing nothing...

Sorry for your loss. Hey, if you want serious bump for the dough, goto Mobile Electronics and tell Tom Rodowski(owner) that Steve Garberick sent ya. Check out the Directed Audio line. It is worth a serious look. The guys there do awsome work and have gotten pretty big time only by word of mouth. They also carry DEI alarms so look into a nice one like the 2way systems. It is silly to have a nice ride with tunes without an alarm.

If you want to check out my ride with DEI Audio, I am only a little an hour north of you :uhoh: You'd shit to listen what I have. Of course, I designed it for a purpose, to win and it does!!!!

No offense dude but dei subs are no where near re's. Also I do my own work cuz all the shops around here including mobile electronics and cca are way over priced and cannot get the sound that i can....yea theirs may look better but my own installs are for sound not looks. And if u wanna meet up sometime let me know....have you heard some re's? You would be suprised off what mine are doing from a crappy 350watt amp.

Yeah, I have heard re's but that wasn't for me. I like stuff that makes you think you got 2x than what you really have. You must have not heard DEI done right. Unfortunately, most shops will not invest in the right tools and materials to get it right. I started out at Mobile and there was some awesome guys there but that was many years ago. I have since started my own shop which leads me to another thing. Yes, I will be in columbus delivering a vehicle. If time permits, I will try to bring my Liberty for you to hear it.

You are always welcome to come up north but I am a wholesaler so I don't have some huge sound board or anything.

Not sure what you mean. The only thing I have heard problems with lately is with the Orion H2 subs self destructing. Of course that's an unfortunate common problem with any sub that handles that kind of power. I use to be a major JL audio freak but had too many problems simular to that of the H2. The problem was that it would take months to have the sub repaired when you can just get a H2 swapped out.

what i meant was that DEI went from quality to not as high quality.

I wish I had never sold my older DEI 1100D. I have 3 of the new DEI right now, well current generation. (2) DEI 4200 and a DEI 1100D.

the biggest mistake i have ever done was sold my old DEI. my old DEI would take a beating and then laugh at me for trying. The new DEI? it's blown (not my fault though). DEI is good and i would buy again, but i wouldn't pound it as much as the old amps.

Is there any way I can contact you regarding DEI?

Really? I never had any problem with any of the amps. It was only some of the higher end subs but it was always easily taken care of. I have the new 1500d along with the new 300.2 amps and DEI speakers and haven't had any problems at all. This thing hits so hard and clear that even my rep couldn't believe it.
