I know that Advancing the timing will give you a little more power but you need to use only high octance gas correct? I was talking to some guy that has his honda advanced all the way and he has had no problems.

My friends stock dohc zc has been advanced all the way for almost 8 months and it runs fine. I just got done advancing my zc all the way and it runs great. These motors are very tolerant with it.

what do you mean by advance all the way? Turning the dizzy? If it's to far advanced you could get detonation.

advanced timing does not give more power. proper timing gives power, advanced timing gives advanced spark which is obvious, and that is all.
