Powersteering

Well i didnt know where to post this so ill just post it here. I gotta replace my steering rack bc the proformance shop striped the fitting and wont fess up. See there was a small leak from the fitment on the hose so when they tired tighting her up they striped the hole or what ever. called ford they want 601 dollers while this shop wants 690 dollers :screwy:. Ford Told me that people ignore the warning that the hole is made of soft alum. and it will strip easy. The garage told me i cant use teflon tap bc the pessure is 800 lbs:confused:. So guys i dont know what to do other then buy my own rack and tubes and do the work myself on a lift at dayton airforce base. But the problem also is getting it there its 1hr 30 min drive :disappoin so ill try puting some teflon tape and tighten her up a bit also been some fluid and then try to make it there. Can u guys tell me is the job really hard what tools ill need etc.. help would be extremly appractied i am so stressed out about my car it is horrible:banghead:. Thanks a bunch guys.
