Hey All, I'm about to pick up my new 1977 Trans Am from Iowa. I was just wondering if I should take any special measures in the winter considering it's a Carburated car and if plain old silicone sealant can be used to fix the notorious T-Tops leaks. Thanks for your time.

plan on plenty of warm up time, take some kitty litter/sand whatever if traction will be an issue and if the heater doesn't work a warm body. You can use silicone sealant, probably won't work that great, and you'll probably be creating more problems than solving, when it comes time to fix the seals and such.
