NO Spark or voltage from ignition coil

Alright i have a 1994 dodge ram 1500 pickup 5.2 liter engine. I replaced the water pump and intake manifold gaskets. After putting everything back together im getting no spark or voltage from the ignition coil. Any idea what the problem is ? maybe i forgot to connect something ?

I'd check all the electrical connections including battery, the coil itself, and the spark plug wires, cap and rotor. Especially anything close to where you were working.

From your description, seems like it's turning over. Are you not getting spark AT the coil?

I connect a plug wire from the coil to a spark plug and im getting no spark. I know i didnt connect a sensor in the front of the engine.. could that be it ? im waiting for a replacement part.

I suppose it's possible, depending on the sensor.

Also, if you're putting a plug wire onto the coil and it's not the same size as the coil wire, it might not be conducting all the way to the plug. Maybe hook up the coil wire and hold it (with insulated pliers or something) near the block to see if you get a spark that way.

Look at your electric distribution center (located on the driver's side of the engine compartment behind the battery. Looks like a black box. There are 2 fuses that control the ignition. One is a 40 amp ignition fuse (no sure of the color) and the other is a 30 amp engine control fuse (pink). They are all listed on a little diagram on the underside of the lid to the black box. The fuses are a little over 2 bucks at autozone. Check the ignition coil next and make sure it's still good. They are about 30 bucks at autozone. Then check the distributor cap and rotor. Not sure of the price on those parts. It's most likely the engine control fuse though. Mine blew 2 times before I changed the ignition coil.
