I attempted to hook up an adjustable shift light but I can't find the wire that goes to the tach. I've tried every wire on the distributor and coil, it just won't work for me. The light does work and the negative and positive are properly installed just the damn green wire.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Does anybody know where the tac terminal is?

I always thought that the "upshift" light worked from a vacuum source. I am unable to locate much on that componet in the P catalog.

From what the haynes says it runs off of an electrical source if I read it right.
Called Profrom, they made the light, they said it is a faulty dial on the back of the light. I'm sending it back to summit today.
The only reason I got it is because when I race on the street I pay attention to the street and looking out for cops. I don't see when to shift until I hit the rev limit. Nothing is worse than when you're bout to win and then you lose on account of the rev limit.

It was the shiftlight itself, the profrom dials can be faulty. The light is set at 4k but goes off at 5.5k. Other than that it works perfectly.
