Has anybody heard of any performance cams for the 4 cyl? also, has anybody thought of taking the head off the RalliArt lancer and throwing it on our engine? it has the MIVEC head, and i beliee it is DOHC. i f anybody knows of where i can get one reletively cheeap i will throw it on my car. i know the RalliArt Lancer dyno's at 165 crank HP. seems like the most effective way of raising hp, without throwing out lots of cash.

That would be alot of money, as the ECU would not know what to do with the extra cam. So you would need a piggyback or full standalone to compensate for the extra cam. Plus, the Fed Spec eclipses (00-01) are rated for 154hp at the crank, so you would be spending alot of money just to get DOHC and 11hp at the crank, which is about 8-9whp. Not worth it.
Now for performance cams, there is a company called RPW out of Australia, with an importer named Vision Imports which sells performance camshafts. But the stock cam is a very well made cam, and not alot of power can be made by simply switching cams. Add boost to about 11-12psi, then add a Stage 2 turbo cam, and then you will see the difference.
