I couldn't find any red/black pedals, so I went DIY and painted parts of my black stock covers red after I armoralled them deep black. I am so cheap :D :D

That looks mad cool for DIY! Great work! But like John said, I hope you used some durable paint or you could be repainting every week ;).

I hope you didn't paint 'em after you armor-all'ed them...
It doesn't look bad at all. :)

You need to get rid of that steering wheel though... :D

I didn't paint over the armor-all, I just armoralled the parts I didn't paint.

And who knows if the paint will last. I used like three different types. First a quick, pen-like paint pen thingy, then another brush-on, and then I thought using the touch-up paint that came with the car would make a good finisher. I seriously don't know whether it'll last a year or a day, but I'll find out!!

Thanks for the comments. I feel better somehow knowing that I'm not the only one who thought it worked out good :D

oh yeah, and the wheel. Does it look better than stock with the wrap on it?

And I would LOVE to get a new wheel, but y'know the money thing, and the whole reason for the DIY, and all...

But if you got a nice wheel layin around, send it my way!! :D

I wish I had my money back from some of my other mods though. Its soooooooooo hard to get any spare money now. I need a new job.

You desperately need to go out and buy some pedals to cover those up. Dead pedal looks ok though.

well, its been a week and looks like the paint is holding just fine! The touch-up paint didn't make a good finisher, but the color soaked into the previous layers so even though its chipping a little on the bottom of the brake pedal, you can't tell unless you shove your face up to it.

I am looking though for a good paint craft pen or type-dealie that I can use to paint my H logo on my wheel with, along with some other small things in the cabin of my car. Do you all have any recommendations? I'll be painting over all kinds of surfaces, save cloth or carbon-fiber.

It's definitely original. Doesn't look GREAT, but it's certainly not bad. Kind of ghetto though... :)

yeah, well, it really looks ghetto now.

Seems I spoke too soon. The cold weather here dryed up the paint pretty hard, but now that its getting warm again, my black interior is like baking the paint right off!!!!. I swear, I rubbed and scraped and picked at the paint before and it wouldn't come off, but now the @#@!@$$@%$# stuff is melting off!!!

Of all the stupid things to end up ruining my hard work, once again, HEAT has spoiled my fun. I'm thinking about painting my car interior friggen WHITE!!

I'm not even gonna post a pic of what they look like now. Damn Arkansas crazy-assed weather. I hate this place. It was 2 degrees outside last week, and now its up to 70. GET ME OUTA HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
