2001 Z24 Cavalier Stereo System

I recently bought a 2001 Z24 Cavalier, and want to put my clarion deck in it. Someone told me that it was difficult because of the alarm or ignition connections to the deck. I do notice little red flashing light on the factory deck when the car is off. Does anyone know how to remove the factory deck and install a new one without changing anything else about the car?

N.B. - I have already checked www.caraudioforum.com and they have nothing listed for a 2001 Cavalier.
