With regards to Red line oil

Do I use 5 qt of this stuff, or just mix it or what? it's like 7.65/quart. There is no way I'm buying 5 qt of this for my engine!

I just recently changed my oil (1k miles ago) and my lifter tick is pretty bad. I"m using Mobile One 10w30 oil, and I used some sort of additive at the time I changed oil to remove lifter tick, but to no avail. I don't want to buy the 3rd gen lifters yet, so I wanna try fluids first.

You could get an additive to thicken it up a bit, don't think redline is an aditive, jsut wicked expensive.

what else could I use to help lifter tick? any good additives ?
