92 civic weak acceleration/torque

My idle rev is 1.5rpm. if I go lower its weak. my rev goes up and down like a rollercoaster sometimes like its rubbin itself. and sometimes it goes way down like it wants to die but it doesnt, i just put some gas then it'll go. going uphill either is a pain, after all the upgrades such as:
cold air intake
421 headers
new spark plugs&wires
racing muffler
automatic ECU to a manual (CEL comes on)
still a family van full of passengers can pass me easily on the freeway not going above the speed limit.
I lose power goin uphill, but 1 thing Im aware of, the 4th spark plug tube gets oil not from the bottom or from the top gasket with the valve cover, I beleive its coming from the middle. is that the main problem or also have anything to do with my fuel system?
I'd appreciate your Ideas and advices!!
cheers

for oil to come from the middle of the spark plug hole that tube that surrounds the spark plug would have to be cracked. i have never heard of that although i guess it might be possible. i think it is more likely that the oil seal around the top of he spark plug hole is bad.
so i am guessing you have you done an auto to manual conversion on this car?
if you take the plugs out, how do they look? is there a lot of oil on them either burnt or unburnt?

Hi, some of them mentioned to me that there's O-rings on the tube, that I have to buy the spark plug tube seals. (there's like a space in the middle or a gap line that each tube has, u can feel it with your fingertips) I rescently just put high temp. sealant around the middle and with just normal driving, oil doesn't come in but if I drive harder such on the freeway, oil fills in the tube. I have to stick towel paper on it once in a while to dry it.
when i take the spark plug out, the bottom of the plug is dry, it looks normal, its just wet with oil.
I think if the plug gets wet with oil, I only run 3cylinders?
I got an extra ECU which I jacked from the wrecking yard LOL its from a DX auto to a manual LX, they said it gives richer fuel or something but the CEL is bugging, there's just a jumper to turn off the automatic thing (J1) and CEL comes off. I even tried buying the chip from ebay that gives more REV limit, but when installed, intake pumps more air in but it dies on me like more air way less fuel. i turned it off.
Thank u in advance for your replies. ^ ^

id put the other ecu back in. it wont give u more fuel bc its using the same sensors to determine how much fuel it needs. for the oil take the valvecover off and get a new o ring from honda to install where the oil is leaking.

ah icic.. yea that CEL is bugging me from that ECU.
do u know if the O-ring is hard to install or little experience on mechanics can do it? on about messing with my fuel system, which way to go 1st? changing PCV and fuel filter? and or something else.
Cheers ^ ^

cool! that's my primary concern, about changing the O-rings. Im hoping to get as much info I can on that one before I start the work. ^ ^
*would making a straight pipe exhaust makes a difference? (taking out catalytic and the other thing that looks like a little muffler of some sort beside the cat)

Just my :2cents: but i had a problem with that "rollarcoaster" idleing and hard starting, and i used some lucas fuel system cleaner you put in the tank and it fixed the problem.
