i checked the fuel pump, its good. replaced the fuel filter , the engine is getting gas. it turns over all day long it just won't start. what could of caused the car to cut off and to cause it not to start. when i am turning the key and its turning over, a warning light comes up that says "fuel shutoff" . please help its my girl's car, and i need to get it running.

There is a motion switch that cuts off the fuel if it is hit in the rear of if you have a sudden impact. It is located either near the left kick panel or in the trunk. I would check the timing belt though as it may have broken causing the car not to start. It will turn over but won't start. Check the belt and if it is or isn't broken post again so someone can help you figure it out.
