Hi guys! I'm gonna make my entrance here. Like Pedro, Cris and Bossoloni, i'm also a Brazilliam Modeler. My name is Alexandre Taschner (AKA Drago) and this is my Revell '32 Ford Highboy. I made it (how can i say...) a classic Hot Rod, with flat black and gloss yellow paint. The panel is real wood, with MCG gauges. The steering wheel, front and rear rims are from Monogram '50 Ford Pickup. Some scratchbuilding: the Finned Brake Drums. I hope you enjoy it.

Very nice build! Are the headers scratchbuilt or what? They look very clean. Also very nice color combo. Just the right amount of yellow & chrome w/ the flat black! You are from S. America? Do you know of the band "SLAYER?" Their singer, Tom Arraya" is from Bolivia.
Oh yeah, Welcome to AF!

Hello everybody!
First of all, I would like to thank the good receptivities. Next, the praises that the AF's friends gave me. That is very rewarding! It is better than any medal of any contest! I really appreciated!
Aloow me describes a little more about this model:
As I said, Wheels and steering wheel are from Monogram's 1950 Ford Pickup
Scratchbuilding:
Finned Brake Drums; Front and rear shock absorbers; the original rear flashlights (square) were substituted by round flashlights; Seatbelts were made using surgical tape and photoetched hardware; I've altered the automatic option by mechanical option, removing the second crowbar of the direction column and adding the third pedal and
switchgear on the frame; alternator's support and the whole wire system (alternator, starter, lights, brakes, etc.) and direction bar, exhaust and mufflers substituted by metal pieces
The original panel was sanded, smoothed and glued real wood panel, with MCG photoetched gauges
Aftermarkets:
MCG rear-view mirrors; radiator's hose, photoetched plate (Brazillian company)
Air Filter and Moon's tank in metal (also Brazillian company)
Hardware seatbelts by MCG.
Slaytanic: the headers are original from the kit. Ya, I'm from S.A., but no Bolivia. I'm from Brazil.. but I also know Slayer and I like it (it's not my mainstyle, but i like it..)
Okiemodelbuilder: we have a lot of unknown good drivers besides Senna, Piquet, clan Fittipaldi,"the SpyderMan", Barrichello (not unanimity here), well, we have a real good modelers also, not only street rods, but also muscles cars, classics, trucks, lowriders, well, all categories are very well represented!
Wheelin75r Hum.... the women... tell me about it... they are our eye drops!
Well, that's all folks!
Thanks again and as sun as possible I'll post some pics of my '61 Impala by Lindberg!
