98 rough starting....

finally fixed my fuel pump issues after much agrivation. Next issue is when the ignition is turned, the car fires up, then dies quick. Fire it up again then it idles rough and low rpms. Seems like im getting enouigh juice from the battery, its only a year old anyway. Is my alternator on the way out? Or maybe my fule filter is clogged with shit after all the crap switching out 3 diff fuel sending units in the tank?

..You should definatly change the fuel filter. I bet that it the issue. A filter should be changed at least annually or every 12-15000 or so. That sounds exactly like a dirty fuel filter. Very vital for the high pressure fuel systems. I dont know how many miles are on your truck, but you will be amazed of how much crap and black gasoline will come out of the filter. Its very easy to do, but a bit messy. But worth it.

Change it and let us know.
