Has anyone else had a problem with their wipers when it gets cold out? Mine get stuck every once in a while when it is pretty cold and wet. I turn them on, they go straight up and stick. They don't come back down. I hit them again and they go down and back up and stay. When they warm up in the garage they eventually come down where they should be. I wash my car in the winter and hit the wipers on the way home and that's basicaly when it happens.

Being from Florida, but lived in Michigan all my life. I'd say they're freezen to the glass. You are running your defroster right?
This is one of those "I just wanted to see if anyone would reply" things, right?

No, I wasnt testin anyone. I do run the defrost but for some reason they wanna stay at the top instead of coming back down. Maybe they just are freezing to the windshield. I hit the wiper and it goes uo, back down to normal position and then back up and it stays up....weird, huh?

Hey, I said I lived in Michigan my whole life. I moved to Florida and the Bucs win the Super Bowl. I called everyone in Michigan and told they it wasn't me holding the Loins back. They just suck.
Never like Dolpins much. When they were good, they got stuck up. It's like Dallas. Now some of the teams that weren't nothing are good. Nice change.

Tony,
Do you have a 1997 GP? Just read in one of the manuals that there is a recall on the wipers. Said they may stop. Don't know what you have.

Tonyr, I have a 98 GP GT. Last winter I had that problem one time. We were driving to a wedding reception and it was snowing. The wipers just decided to stop working in the "up" position. We made it to our destination safely, however when we parked the car and turned the wipers off (they weren't working anyway), the wipers just stayed in the up position. Later that night, when we were leaving the reception, we started the car up and the wipers decided to go down and work properly again. They have worked fine ever since. It never happened again.
