Can some of you display the tweeks and tricks you did to make your truck faster. I have a 98 Silverado.

i was looking a the link you posted, Faze2183. looks like some good info.
about this MAF mod: http://www.sshotrods.com/performance/gmtruck/fullsize/99up/maf/
has anyone tried this yet? is is safe for the MAF? i'd like to try ti, but i'm hesitant because a new mass air would cost a quite a bit more than i want to spend right now.

I descreened my MAF, and noticed no difference whatsoever. If I hadn't lost the screen, I'd put it back in.

I Removed my MAF screen when I installed my K&N Intake, The screen pops right out, just be careful not to hit the sensors running across the the center. Ive noticed an increase in Power and Gas mileage since I added the Intake and Exhaust, Im not sure how much the screen removal helped but I have no complaints.

i removed the screen today, and i noticed a slightly more aggressive sound. not huge, but a little. i can't really fell any power added though.
