Backfire Sound???

Hey i was drivin home from work today and put it down for a ways on a back road, i was in the middle of third geer and punched it, the turbo spooled up and then my car made a huge backfire sound and jerked me forward. I thought that my bov might have popped out but it was in tight as a nun's kunt. So I have no clue what the backfire or whatever was caused by. I have the psi set at 17 on the stock turbo and have 3 inch turbo back. I really do not understand or have a clue on what that was. Any info is appreciated

Does it do it every time? If so, try turning your boost down a little, otherwise it's a tuning issue. If it doesn't happen again, you don't have anything to fix.

I wish people would put what thier car is thier signature. If it is a 1g I might suspect fuel cut. If youre right on the limit it may not do it every time. Expecially cold air will raise airflow and trigger it if you are on the edge as well. On a 2g, fuel cut is very unlikely.

mine did the same thing when i installed my 16g, i was running rich as(you know what) when i tuned it a little it stopped. whats your mods. you may need a tunning logging setup
