m trying to decide on which car to buy please help me.

-------- 2004 Civic Si -----------

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.j...or=&cardist=175

Good: New/Black/Hatchback
Bad: Slower than `99 civic si/Expensive

---------------------------------

-------- 1999 Civic Si -----------

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.j...or=&cardist=157

Good: Faster than 2004/Cheaper
Bad: Slightly older/slightly moded already

---------------------------------

IF I BUY THE 2004 CIVIC SI I WILL ONLY HAVE $150 DOLLERS A MONTH TO MOD CAR.
IF I BUY THE 1999 CIVIC SI I WILL HAVE ABOUT $250 to $300 DOLLERS A MONTH TO MOD CAR.

Thanks for your help!

Well think of it this way I believe your young right? If this is your first real car then you might want to go with the 99 SI. Get a feel for the car if your just entering the performance game. The 04 is great but alot more money and insurance will be alot more as well, which you need to consider. Parts for your 04 SI wil be more expensive then the 99 SI. You can mod your 99 alot faster, and easier. I prefer the 99 SI body as well over the new hatchie. Deffinitly go with the 99 SI. Very fun car and it wont break your bank.

how about you not buy a civic then. Don't need more people like you driving around without insurance raising other people's rates. Go get a Ford Pinto, Granada, or LTD and end yourself.

i have insurance, im insured on a beater that doesnt even drive and sits in a junk yard, the cars i drive are insured with my dad, so if i wreck in the cars i actully drive it still gets fixed, but i get charged for having a 42 pinto instead of a 2004 civic si.

So i have insurance on the cars i drive just not in my name.

The Ford Pinto was produced between 1971 ~ 1980.
It was a horribly unsafe car.
On the other hand, 1942 Ford cars can be Pimped-Out.

I would get the 2004 Honda Civic Si because it has a larger displacement engine. It also makes for an easier upgrade path to the K20A2.

I just have one more question. Do you pay for the insurance or does you parent's pay for it? That would be the big deciding factor for me. I'm speculating here that, if you do pay for insurance, that you aren't paying for the Pinto, but your dad's rates for whatever car you have. If that were the case I would just go with which is easier on insurance. IMO, both of the cars pros and cons weigh each other out.
