wiring loom problem

can anybody give some info on the exact nature and likley location of the insulation breakdown in a 95 e320 coupe hfm wiring loom

it's not so much as an insulation breakdown...it's more like, that the entire harness goes into a rigormortis like state and any time you try to move the harness...it just breaks off
