tranny help

i have a 94 GP 3.1 automatic and in need of a tranny, could someone tell me what years are compatible with a 94? and does it need to be out of a GP? thanks in advance

well i see know one knows much about transmissions, it seemed like such an easy question, for some of you knowledgable people.
you guys answer questions about sensors, tires what kinda gas to use other harder questions about transmissions, i even seen answers to a guys question about interior noise. well i guess i'll look elswhere to the answer to my simple question. so long

A transmission from practically any 94-95 GM product with a 3.1 engine will fit this car. I don't know the model transmission number but if you check Car-part.com you should be able to find several hundred used transmissions to fit your car.

They are all the same case but the gear ratios is what will get ya your best finding one from the same kinda car
