i have a 93 geo with the throttle body fuel injection and ive been told there is an after market carb that can take the place of the throttle body fuel injection and elimenate alot of the electronics used to make the car run therefore making it more simpler to work on does anyone know anything about this

Maybe the comments are right. I know fuel injection is better on consumption matter because it is more efficient. Carb would allow you to run rich giving extra power and a lot of carbon in all your exhaust system. Forget about economy. The matter in here is what to do with all the wires you unplugged to prevent ECU warning light drive you nuts. Good luck pal!
