A friggin month after I bought my new moto
I havr pulled my engine and have stripped it
I nevr thought I would get done :naughty:
now I am mounting shit on the new moto
I was wondering how important the exact torque is on the flywheel bolts
I dont have a t-wrench handy and was gonna make 'em real tight
would that be good enough or should I bustamove and get a t-wrench?
all comments, congrats, flames accepted and appreciated

If there not torqued the same the flywheel could crack rather easy. But I'v seen many engines built never using a torque wrench or plastiguage or anything that has lasted 120+ thousand miles.

Gettin there
Getting the motomount off was hairy, pretty much wasted a nut but I got it going with a new socket and not it's on the new moto
I have the flywheel swapped and torqued
new clutch kit installed
but
I am having a time with getting the tranny back on
The shaft refuses to enter the clutch plate
I know it is the right one(the alignment tool fits in both old and new)
Does anyone know any tricks to ease the mating ?

just move it around back and forth, right and left it will just find its spot and slide right in.

JDM D15B
Tranny from USDM D15B2
I figured I just need to keep wigglin it
(how many time have I heard that before :naughty: )
It aint fun though, the tranny aint lite, and the moto wont sit at a good angle
????
Guess I will just wiggle till it goes in :grinno:

mine did the same shit before. I ended up pulling the engine out to slide on the tranny. Had to make sure the tranny and motor was sitting up straight to make the tranny go in.

I am gonna give a go again today
The moto is resting on a pallet and hung from a hoist, so it aint as imobilized (or verticle) as it could be
everybody say "penetration" at the same time and see if we can get a psychic thing goin
:lol2:

it's all good.....
it was an incorrect abreviation anyway
like I said to Silent, it's engine not motor
so if I wanted to use a crazy abreviation, I should've said "eng"
lol
