I have a 1987 Cherokee. I need to put in a new ignition and turn signal switch. Was wondering if anybody has any pointers to make this easier for me. I am in Puyallup, Wa and I'm also looking to buy a back hatch for a resonable price. Thanks for the help!!

The ignition switch itself is located at the base of the steering column. Only the key lock in located inside. There is a rod that connects them and slides the switch. You'll need to lower the column to get to the switch. If the turn signal.
You'll need special tools to remove the steering wheel, Usually, you can rent these at a local auto parts. Places like AutoZone, loan them for free.
