Bov?

Alright on dsmtuner.com they are talking about how to not buy a BOV for a 1st gen. It says it ruins performance and stuff. I just want to kno more throughly whats up with that.

yea they say that because the 1st gen. dsm already has a perfectly good bov that has the potential to hold more than 20 psi...i dont know if you upgrade to a more name brand bov it will hurt performance though....I doubt that, but basically the message is dont fix it if its not borken

usually it makes it worse since lots of aftermarket bovs dont recirculate. a aftermarket that recircluates is fine but the only reason a bov helpson a 2g is because the stock leaks. a new one on a 1g doesnt make a difference
