Where is the heater core in a 94 Z28? It is getting colder, but I haven't put her up yet, and I just read that a seal in the heater core can become loose and let cold air in, and it takes a very long time for the cabin to warm up. Just lookin to fix the problem.

The heater core is on the passenger side of the firewall. I would suggest that you first flush your cooling system with a non-acid based cleaner that is approved to be used with aluminum components. This should clean out any buildup in the cooling system and heater core. You can also disconnect the 2 hoses that go into your heater core (on the firewall) and take a garden hose and flush the heater core. Flush both ways. Be sure and cover your optispark and computer during this process.
