Carbon Fiber Hood

Who makes the best quality carbon fiber hood for 5g's? Fit wise and material. And where can i get it?

And if you know, how much does it weight?:confused:

go to this site. here's a pic of my CF hood. it's the VIS Racing Invader hood. good hood, rounded edges and perfect fit. about 15 lbs i'd say. i paid $525 plus $70 for the hood pins at shop in chinatown in chicago.

if you want the absolute best i have heard kaminari is it for a lude. but you'll pay a heafty price for one (cheapest i saw was 650 at nopi not shipped and retail is 850. that vis that del has is the one im getting. just make sure you get to look at the hood before you have to commit to it because i have heard some vis hoods are junk.

i'm gettin my car tuned and dynoed this week so i should have official numbers for you by next week. but according to jackson racing, the supercharger alone puts about 235hp to the wheels. with the rest of my mods, that number should definately be higher. so i'll let you know. and afterwards i plan on takin it to the track to see what it can do. :bandit:

does anyone know any places that make custom hoods? Like if you have a front end conversion and you need a CF hood for it.

I would appreciate that alot. Im getting a JR supercharger too and i would love to see what kind of numbers in HP and in the 1320 i can expect!:D
