I need a new job.

Well i finally got fed up and quit my glorious job at walmart. That place is such bullshit. They moved me to unloading trucks without asking me (i was forced). Then they tried to give me a paycut for moving back there. Then all I heard all tongiht was "hurry up you have to keep up with us" or "pull that freight faster". Man that place is such bullshit. FUCK WALMART

Yeah wal-mart is bullshit. I worked for walmart corp. (not store level) doing remodels, The store level managers and such couldnt do shit to us, but I saw all the shit that goes on because it takes about three months to remodel the stores.

It's funny, I went for the interview and they looked at my GPA for high school and then said that they were booked-up and that in a week, they should have a position open for me. But since he said that after looking at my GPA, i figured he didn't want me to work there since I wasn't dumb enough. :lol: And what's the point of interviewing me when there is no position's open and then he wants me to come in again for another. I just said thank-you and that I wasn't interested anymore and he said okay and left. That place is just fudged up beyond belief.

HAHAHA. I used to work at wal-mart. A year or so ago. I worked there most of my senior year and about a year after I graduated. I worked in the toy department and the pets department. I hardly EVER did any work. I'd take like hour long "15's". I'd sit in the bathroom and read magazines and eat crackers. Oh man I was a bad employee. I just stoped showing up one day.

I worked there for like afew months before I said fuck this and moved on to anew job.

im workin their now but not the store im up at the D.C...i load trucks and so on...i dont really like it much so i havent gone in 4 days...but im thinkin about showing up tomorrow

damn lol, im surpised so many people on here have worked there. My store wasnt so retarded, there are alot of young people working there. Alot of hot ass girls too. But I am done with them. lol. My sisters bf is gonna see if he can get me a job as a prep cook at BoneFish. I have 3 months experience at Hooters prepping and make. So well see what happens. Gonna start tomorrow applying around.

kinda classy i think, never eaten there but it has really good food supposedly. And my sisters bf has to wear a dress-up kinda uniform to serve there. AI think you need a reservation to eat there too.

sweet dude, where do u live? u should try caddying. i just got my pay raise as a caddie. i get payed 20 bucks an hour flat now instead of 18 bucks an hour flat. And then I get tips on top of that and I come whenever i want to come to work and i get payed cash same day, under the table. cant beat that, jiggaman.

they make you into a zombie...i had to take a break because i started to get a strange craving for people after about 2 weeks of 430pm-4am

i work there now...10pm-7pm...we have 7 isles to work in grocery and most of the time w only have enough people to work 3 isles...people always callin in or just not showin up and still have their jobs...i dislike the place...don't enven like going grocery shopping anymore...soon to be leavin there though

the only plus is the women...i'm by UNCW and the students frequent the store...the women are what keep me sane :evillol:

oh yeah...i stopped wearin my vest and put my tag at the bottom of my shirt...and and some of the workers there walk around all stressed...dunno why...our motto is "do what u can then time to go"

I made 17 dollars/hour once working at a sawmill..stacking boards..cleaning..night shift ..cold as hell..I did that for about 4 months before I gave up, was always tired and hurting and grouchy. Anyone who's seen my pic knows that i'm NOT cut out for that line of work. all the rednecks at the mill even had a bet going of how long I would stay. They always made fun of me and my car to haha fuckers. So I finally got another job...but damn do I miss the pay.

all you gotta do is go to your local private country club and be like "yo, i want to caddie!" and then you'll start making the big bucks. it is kind of a hard job but its good exercise, you get to see what millionaires are like, and you get payed cash same day.

damn man i wouldnt mind the saw mill job. I dunno if I could handle being a caddie. Sounds peachy but i barely know about golf, i just like to drive the ball, and Id like to drive the carts too. I go to the driving range for fun every once in a while. Id rather do something thats manual labor now that im getting built. In under 4 months Ive gone from benching 135 to 170 and im still goin (thats repping not max). Im gonna go apply at Merchants, home depot, lowes, bonefish, and ill look around for other places. I may even try construction type of work, but well see.

I may get a second job. I need to make some more cash so I can change my car, sell it and get something else and/or be able to pay the bills. I might can handle it now that I've quit smoking now for 4 months or so... definitely a difference. I can do a lot more stuff than I used to that's for sure. I don't suck so bad a skateboarding anymore either. I thought I was just getting old...

I went to Petsmart to apply/interview today and I was sitting in this room for 20 mins waiting for the person to come talk to me and then I got sick of waiting and walked out. I dont think they pay very well anyways. I got an appliction for Merchants too. I was gonna apply at Lowes but their computers were down so Ill prolly do it tonight online.

lol yeah, i am getting there though. When I started lifting I weighed 300. I started lifting weights and doingd crunches and some other things and Ive been getting skinnier and turning everything to muscle. So im slimming down and bulking up. Not sure how much I weigh now though. And since my accident I havnt been eating too much and im scared to drive around big trucks a lil now. And around here all the trucks are big bc of all the rednecks.

yay i found a job! I just got a job at NTB doing tires, which ill be trained for and later on ill advance to being a full mechanic which theyll train me on.

oh yeah its $5.50 an hour plus commison, and commision starts on my first day. Not bad and plus it helps me out bc when i leave there ill have proff. experience and can do more stuff.

Its days like this I love my job... theres a 02 viper sitting in my shop right now.

Good deal, dude. I have a job but I want to get a second job that's a little different. I work in an office during the day but want to do more hands on work as well. I'm thinking parts store or something. The district manager of Advance Auto called me awhile back and tried to get me into the manager-in-training gig cuz I knew some Spanish. I would have had to sacrifice some benefits though. Anyway, I need to think on it I guess.

hmmm well i just quit my job, or put my 2 weeks notice in today. I went and applied at Express Auto and at walmart again lol but i wont go back unless i work in TLE (tire and lube express). Im gonna apologize to my manager though, i called him a dick and an asshole. He was trying to change the rules of the shop and all this other bullshit. Hes new by the way, and he brags all the time about his stuff and how cool he is and always talks down to us.

nevermind i decided to stay after i talked to the general manager. Walmart actually called me back after 2 days which is pretty wierd. It was the wrong walmart though.
