just got a problem that showed up on my 92 hatch dx:disappoin. the passenger side front turn signal is a bit messed up. the other day on my way to p.t. formation i turned on my lights and to my amazement the right turn signal indicator immediatley came on and stayed on not flashing. i got out and checked the car and the turn signal in both the front and back was on and not flashing. i turned off the car and restarted it but the problem persisted. later on that mornign i turned the turn signal on with the lights off and the turn signal worked as normal except the dash, license plate, and radio lights flashed with the turn signal. i chaged the bulb in the turn signal to a single filament and the turn signal in the back went to working as usual and the indicator light flashed like a son of a bitch but, stayed out until needed. unfortunatley the passenger side front turn signal didnt work. :uhoh: this is irritating me so i thought id put it in here. it could be something as simple as a bulb or it could be something as difficult as a short in the wire somehwere amongst the mess.
i have looked and seen no breaks in the wires leading to the turn signal. all i know is that i need this piece fixed so i can get everything straight. any help is appreciated:smokin:

There's a relay box for the headlights, turnsignals and hazards and something must be wrong with it. Maybe moisture got in there or what but definitenaly check it out.

i know wut i am about to say will not be helpful, but u have a ground/short issue, and, like Shaguar47 said, prolly a problem w/ the relay box. if u'r lucky it's getting grounded/shorted in the relay, and so thus replacing it will take care of it all, but that's no promise. wiring SUX!! :crying: :banghead:

i'm not sure to be honest, it's either under the hood w/ all those fuses, or its in the dash w/ those fuses. if u have the owner's manual, it should show. or if u have a haynes or chilton's manual for u'r car it'll be in there.

I can't say for sure, since I have a 4th gen, but the 5th gen is very similar. My relay box is attached right behind the fuse box right under the dash. It just clips on and is a big gray box. But since this is a newer car, it could be smaller and different color, but I'm not for sure. Try looking there till someone can give exact directions. But most civic's are very alike so it could be there.
