what year would the 180sx bodykits found on takakaira fit onto a 240 and is that possible?

It will work if your ready to do a lot of fabricating.

well whos right...because i like the kit for the 180 and theres a 91 240 by my house so would that fit or would there be a lotta mods to do?

They will bolt up.

Depending on the kit, there may be minor fitment issues. But nothing an autobody shop can't handle.

meh, sorry, I was thinking about trying to put one from the old model on the new one before I re-read it. They are right, there will only be minor things that you will need to fix but nothing that should stop you from buying it.

it also depends on the lights....180sx kits have the square lights and our 240's have the oval shape style. and not the headlights im talking about the blinker and shit. So the kit will definantly fit but you may have to order some jdm lights witch i think are around 100 bux for the pair.

The 180 kits will all work on all the 240s that the USDM refers to as "S13s". They are the same sheet metal.

no.

below is a strawberry face, which is.. like the sil80 but with the S15 front end

regular sil80's have the S13 (real silvia) front end

in order for a sil80 you would need a silvia front end conversion not a 180sx bumper....as in you wouldnt have the pop up headlights anymore. plz do some more research on these cars. Try reading some of the sites and not just looking at the pictures.

You can't just get a kit and have it be a sil80. Do some more research. You need a real Silvia front end to do that with. You would probably have to order one straight from Japan.

Actually...what you need is a REAL 180SX. The Silvia parts are available in the US. The 180SX is not.

Dude, you CAN'T overnight a 180SX from Japan. You can't get a 180 from Japan...period. (a street legal one anyway)

I never said order a 180SX from Japan. ( Although that would be pretty sweet! :) ) I don't really know how else you would get one, though, at least a street legal one.

no way at all in the US.

Fine! Then just get a 240. That is pretty lame, though. "No 180's in the U.S." Who came up with that rule anyway?!?

It's not "No 180s in the US.", it's "No non-USDM cars in the US."

true... a genuine sil80 would be impossible to obtain in the US.

closest you'll get to it is a s13 silvia front on a US 240sx fastback body w/ a sr20.

Yes, I KNOW THIS! I was just playin'. That does suck, though, for real.

move to canada, import an 89/90 280sx (as long as its more than 15 years old to the month), register, drive

speaking of importing, i saw two R32's driving around, always good to see

A street-legal R32 GTS-T was in the drifting event I went to about a month ago north of Montreal (where I live), along with legal SR and RB26DETT powered 240s!!! God, I love this country.
