I've never done audio in a car before but since I'm going to college and don't have the money to work on the engine (nor the desire) of my new lil commuter car... I was curious as to what I should look out for as far as audio goes.

If it does matter I just got a 1999 Ford Escort SE Sport.

Thanks a bunch.

Well youre going to have to be a lot more specific. Pretty much anything you put in your car will sound better than factory. Do you want subwoofers? Do you want to just replace your stock speakers? What is your price range? Tell us these things and we will be able to help you out.

well since he says he doesnt have time, cash or desire to mod the engine i would figure he doesnt have time, cash or desire to put 4k into a system that may get stolen by some dumbassed frat guys. but yes a price range and expectations would be nice.
