question about 240sx

i know this may be stupid but does a 91 240 sx and a 280z have the same suspension...plz dont hound me for this i have a honda prelude and dont know about them...but my friend has one and something f*cked up w/ it and i know someone who has a 280z parts car and i was wondering if he could go get the part off that car??

rack and penion steering thingy is all i could get out of him...power steering gearing assembly maybe?? does that sound right? anyways he was driving up his driveway and it snapped in half and he had to get out and kick is wheel back in straight on the right side while the left was already straight

the tie rod snaped? get a used oe from the junk yard... or buy a a tein one.. but the swap thing from a Z ... i don't know about.

thanks for the help...im going w/ him today to a "pull apart" yard to get the part...can someone tell me what engine the sr20 came from and is it a good swap for the stock 2.4 he has (like k24 or something like that..ya'll will know more than me) what are the pros and cons between these 2 engines?

the engine the sr came from is from a sr...o you mean what car it came from.....it came from japanese models. The pros and cons between both engines can be found through out the internet just do some research. Heres a good ka site for you www.phatka-t.com , tell him to peep this site.
