so peterson got convicted on first degree of laci and second degree of the unborn conner. i want to see all your views on what you think of this:
how is he convictable of murder in the second degree of conner, yet abortion (particulary late term) is not looked upon as murder. the logic doesn't add up to me at all. what do you all think?

I've known from the day he was arrested he was guilty. I knew the verdict would be guilty. The evidence was far more damning against him than for him. The biggest reason the jury found him guilty was probably the lack of other suspects or probablities that were legit.

Same here, GUILTY from day one. I just hope they execute his sorry ass quickly, so we can all forget about him.

It definitly should be double homicide because there is no difference between a baby that is in the womb and a baby outside. Just because a baby isnt fully developed dosent change the fact that there is human life inside a womans body! thats an incredible thing and you shouldnt think otherwise. In the end, we are all just grow up fetus'!

well its abortion until you hit 3 months, then you arent allowed to do anything to the baby or its considered murder.
but anyway abortion is not murder. you have to think of it this wqay what if your wife/mom/sister/girlfriend were raped. are you saying they need to carry that child even tho the child has no conscious being in the womb? not gonna go into that tho, dont want to go off topic

The thing is it has set a pressident that no one but a mother can kill a child in the womb.
This will be used as fodder for the anti-abortion people (which i don't really have an opinion on considering i'm not a woman and it's not my place to try to control anyone other than myself)

Abortion debate aside,
1. this case is interesting because of the media attention.......dozens of people are murdered daily in the US. Why does this one get the attention?
2. Execution is murder. Lock him away for life in an unpleasant place, sure, but execution is morally and ethically wrong.
