power door locks

I deliver pizza in my 97 Grand Am. I need to find a way to get the power door locks to quit automatically locking everytime the car is put into gear. Is there any way to disable this without harming the actual power door locks? I want to be able to still use the power function, but not the automatic function. Thanks.

Well I know in my 2001 Grand Am there's a way to do it that's specified in the manual. Check the user manual that came with your car. It should tell you. I don't exactly remember how mine was done, but it was very easy, and your's should be the same if it can be done - just check manual.
