Bov sounds

Does anyone either have or know of any sites that have good bov sound clips. I am looking and I cant find one for a greddy type s. If no one can find one then can anyone at least describe what the type s sounds like. Thanks

if u have a car..with turbo, thats a cool noise already, but i'd go with greddy or....sometin else

ps. not to be mean, rude, but i did find that on google using a search "blow off valve sound clips" it was 3rd from the top.

greddy is more of a whoosh sound, HKS is more like a whistle sound...

My 1g BOV sounds cool as hell. After it blows off, it will give off this neat little whistle (like if you were trying to whistle a song) that's really funny to listen to, always makes the ladies giggle :p

That's a great site. I think I like the Greddy Type S over the rest.

i think the greddy type s and the hks ssqv sound the best of all. but, the question of the day is which is better performance wise?

havnt u guys notice when girls are in teh car and u drive into high rpm thus letting out the bov they get excited? or is that just my friends? ahhaha well when im drivn my moms rav4 they arnt excited

blow off valves dont add performance. there are 2 diffrent types of bov's atmishperic, and recirculative. you can spend $20 on ebay for a 1g bov, and it will do the same thing that a greddy, hks. there are diffrent size springs in all of them, just like wastegates. you wont have to worry about those untell your running 20+ psi.

on a side note, the only safe way to run your bov the the atmishpere is to run a gm-maft, or hks vpc. people have done it without them, but no matter what they say, its not good to do.
