Hey! Man, this forum looks really dead! I'm just curious to see if anyone's here and if this Team Lonely Drivers is for real. Is it still up and running in November of 2004???

Sooo, could I still join? Or would that take like a year or something. I tried to fill out an app on the website, but it didn't work.

Yeah, I don't know. I'd almost be interested in starting a new team. It seems like TLD is kinda dying out...?

yea, i would say TLD is on its last legs. i now think its smarter to start a team locally and branch out as it gets bigger, cause we are so spread out ( members of TLD ) that it kinda kills it cause people always disapeer online. if we were a local team we could know what the heck happened to our members cause they live near by...
but you live and you learn. I was part or TLD when it was getting big, had my sticker on til early this year even though it was dying then, ended up getting invited to join a local team so i did ( and took my TLD sticker off ), it actually didnt last too long, i was let go cause they thought im not very easy to talk to.. shortly after that most of the people on that team went there own ways. the pres of it is trying to start it up again, but its only him and his g/f left now so we'll see how that goes.
i would recommend starting up your own team locally if anything, it will be much more benificial then joining an online team that really doesnt do much of anything...

well I dont really know what to say. I kinda am making one with a buddy and am a psudo part of another.
Well first of all meet people in your area that are into cars. If you want a race team get people who race if you want a show team get people who are into show/audio. If you just want to have fun and enjoy yourself let everyone into cars in thats the best way imo.
Then when you get some people you know think of team name get business cards shirts stickers etc etc.
thats a start man If you need some more info i'd be happy to help.

Yes, TLD is kinda dead now and it would be best to start your own team locally. I'm not saying I have fully given up on TLD, but for now it is dead. I no longer have a computer and my life has been pretty hectic. Once I get everything straightened out and atleast my civic going again I will attempt to start TLD again. I can't really give you any advise on started up your own team, TLD started on accident. I really don't think I will attempt to bring TLD back to life until after I get out of the Arkansas/Oklahoma area, I plan on moving closer to some of my other members.
GTA, did you move up to Klamath Falls? If so how is Ami's business going?

No problem drumpet.
Thats cool GTA. I knew last I heard you was talking about moving up there, just didn't know if you did it yet or not. Once I get things straight (a couple years from now) I'm going to try to move up to somewhere around there...atleast closer than I am now. But you know how I am.
