Hello everybody,
I have a '95 240SX and the brake lights stay on constantly. I looked under the dashboard where the brake makes contact with the switch, and there are two switches. What are the two switches and which do I replace? Thanks in advance,
the Capt.

Wow... creepy! I have the exact same problem and I can't figure out what the hell it is either!

you have to adjust it so that it will be the right length of being off and on. The switch pretty much will kill the power to the tail lights when it is not depressed. Just unscrew the adjusting nut under there and turn it around(while the harness is not connected to it)

Well I tried to manually push the switch and still nothing. I'm guessing the switch (either the one on the left or right) is probably bad. When the brake is not pushed, the switch is normally open. When the brake is pressed, that closes the switch and then activates the brake lights. I'll do more researching...
