Just joined up yesterday. Live on Ms. coast(Casino Row). I don't know a lot about cars mechanically but need to learn. I have a silver '87 TA with WS6 & HiPo 5.0L that I want to keep as my part time driver. It has 52,000 miles and it is almost finished with new front int. & dash & new paint because the old was fading bad. Otherwise in very good shape. I kept it covered a lot. What I really want to do is keep it looking as stock as possible but to start adding HiPerf stuff in increments to turn it into a stealth Mustang killer. I would like to see what suggestions anyone has that I might want to do. So far I've put in a new computer and superchip, new ignition parts, plugs and wires and am adding K&N air filter. I'm pretty sure I will add headers and freeflow exhaust system and do some throttle body alterations. Not sure what needs to be done to motor internally, if anything. Also, what I would really love to do is make the 2 fake hood scoops functional kind of like the old GS Buick. Anyone know of a kit for this or has seen it done before I would appreciate any info.

i assume that your ta is a 5.0 tpi, you can also get a tpi air fail that slides into your throttle body.
