Completed this GT40 last night, built box stock. Did the kit in 3 days!!! No I did not paint the headlight buckets, but I do plan on building another one with more detail!! This was a trial and error, beings I do not build many race cars. Left the side windows out for veiwing of the interior. Will post interior shots when I get some new batteries for my camera!!

No metter how you build this one, w/o paint, w/o decals, detailed or OOB it always impresses me, time and time again.

Sweet build.. This is one of my favorite liverys on this car. Ya done real good! :)
Ride height looks good. Fujimi got it right for a change?!?

I have a couple GT40's in the stash to build one day too.

Sometimes it must be nice to do a quick and simple build like this. For me the headlights and front intake are screaming out for some detail painting. But I know that's not your intention. :)

3 days! it takes me 3 days to clean the flashing off the last kits I've started. As primera man also stated, I too need to get a GT-40 kit. Love these cars. I was watching Goodwood on Speedvision and man... beautiful machines.

I just can't believe how someone can start and finish a kit in just three days :)

Did you paint the car? Does it have engine detail?

Yes the car is painted!!! And no, there's not any engine detail!! I just completed a '66 Nova that took awhile, so in turn, I try to build a curbside that is fast and easy!! That way, you don't get burnt out!!

Fantastic build... man I love 40's, I never tire of seeing them either as kits or the real thing!

I'm a lucky man, Goodwood is about 20 miles from me, as I'm a memeber I get to go down there a lot and wander around the padock, and it's always a buzz. There's no place like it on earth. It's a darn fast and scary track as well, even in some thing as humble as my Elise... I hate to think what it feels like with 7 litres of yank muscle sat behind you :p
