89 cutlass ciera plug location

Please help! 89 Olds Cutlass ciera 2.8 book indicates firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6 (Can this be right?) also need to know location of #1 plug.

I believe the no. 1 plug is the one in the rear of the engine, accessory (passenger) side. That is the correct firing order.
