#1
Since installing a new cd player in place of the original radio, the clock resets each time the car is started, and interior light in car and trunk only work when the car is running.
Suggestions for putting this right again?
#2
The running lights have'nt worked since I bought this car a year ago, and the tail lights would only work if the ebrake was applied at least one click.
I took out the running light relay tonight and resoldered the connections because the were visibly cracked. Now the headlights and tail lights are always on when the car is running, making the light switch pretty much useless.
Help?
Regards

Having not seen the electrical drawings for your teg, I'll take a stab at the question...
Part 1 almost sounds like the constant 12V fuse might be blown, have you metered that connection to see if the radio is getting power while the car is off?
Part 2 sounds like you bypassed the light switch when you reconnected the lights..did you make sure that when you resoldered the connections no excess solder is shorting the leads on the relay?
